William and Kate arrive in Quebec City

Supporters, protesters expected to greet couple on 4th day of 9-day Canadian tour

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge docked in Quebec City on Sunday morning after an overnight cruise from Montreal on the St. Lawrence River aboard a Canadian Forces vessel.
Before they start their tour of the provincial capital, the royal couple will take part in a 40-minute prayer service on the deck of HMCS Montreal to kick off the fourth day of their nine-day tour of Canada.

Cmdr. Réal Brisson said Prince William and Kate Middleton spent some time chatting on the ship's bridge on Saturday night before retiring for the night. He said "hundreds of small pleasure craft" could be seen "really close by."
William and Kate's first stop in Quebec City is La Maison Dauphine, a community centre for street youth.
The couple will round out the day by having dinner with Premier Jean Charest and his wife Michele.
William and Kate were greeted by a mixture of cheers and boos as they arrived in the province on Saturday to visit patients in the neo-natal and cancer units of a Montreal children's hospital.
Several dozen protesters pushed toward police lines, yelling and waving the Fleur de Lys.
"We don't want [the monarchy], we didn't vote for it. it was imposed on us. So I came here to protest about that," one man said.
Another protester, Michael Renaud, objected to the cost of the royal visit and came carrying a banner that read "Go Home Parasites."
William and Kate were wisked inside Sainte-Justine University Hospital Centre so fast that the hundreds who did line the streets to show their support didn't even catch a glimpse of the couple.read more...
