Kim Kardashian Gets Flour Bombed, Keeps On Working

Reality star Kim Kardashian was flour bombed on the red carpet in West Hollywood on Thursday night.

Just before 8 PM, after finishing posing for the photographers at an event for her new fragrance, True Reflection, at the London Hotel off of Sunset Blvd., Kim was speaking to the house crew on the red carpet when a young woman strolled up to the reality star and dumped a bag of what appeared to be flour on Kim's head.

"She came from Kim's left, with a Zip-Lock baggie," an Access Hollywood staffer on the scene said, noting the bag had about three fists full of white powder, believed to be flour. "The girl just kind of showed up on the red carpet."

According to the Access staffer, who witnessed the event, no one stopped the woman, as she approached Kim.

"She went in between Kim and her publicist and started dumping the bag on Kim's head and shoulders," the staffer recounted.

Only a small amount of the powder actually touched the reality star, landing on her head and shoulders.

"She was shocked," the Access witness said of Kim's reaction. "And, as soon as it happened, she put her head down and security grabbed her and they rushed her off into the elevators."

As for the flour bomber, she tried to briskly walk away from the scene, but was stopped and escorted away by security.

Not one to let a little flour stop her, after about 10 minutes, Kim went back to work, returning to chat with the media, where she made jokes about the incident.

"She was very bubbly, very high-spirited and she actually joked about it," the Access staffer recounted. "She said she wasn't too upset because the woman didn't get any on her face. She made a joke about having told her makeup artist she needed more powder."

It was not immediately clear why the young woman chose to dump the substance on Kim's head, however, late last year, someone flour bombed Kim's pal, Jonathan Cheban.

According to reports at the time, the assailant said they did it for Kris Humphries, Kim's ex, during the incident.

To see what happened at the event and Kim's interview, tune into Access Hollywood on Friday night.

Kris Jenner's Inappropriate Outfit Copies Daughter Kim Kardashian

Usually, when your mom does embarrassing stuff, you’re the only one who suffers. But in the case of the Kardashians’ mom, Kris Jenner, the world gets to see her cringe-worthy antics.

Most recently, the 56-year-old mother of Kim Kardashian wore an outfit that would be better suited for a 20-year-old (in fact, Kim and sister Khloe have worn similar outfits): hot-pink skinny jeans, black leather jacket, oversized silver handbag, and high-heeled, leopard print mules.

It’s an outfit that a teenager could probably pull off, but Jenner is pushing the fashion bounds in this overly trendy look for her age. The reality TV mom got low marks on the Web. One commenter at the Daily Mail opined the general feeling: “She is a garish attention-seeker. She dresses too young for her age.”

The publicity-hungry mom made waves recently by wearing nothing at all. In “honor” of her son Rob’s 25th birthday, she posted a racy photo of herself when she was pregnant with him. One horrified reader on Yahoo! asked, “What normal person would do that to their son on their birthday? It's one thing to show the picture amongst the family but to post it online for the world. Starving for attention much?!?”

Another added: “Kris, it is not all about you. Why would you post such a private picture on your blog for all to see and why on HIS birthday? No shame whatsoever.”

Not everyone minded it. One gushed: “I think it’s fantastic she posted this… A pregnant woman is beautiful no matter who she is.”

Stella McCartney shows off her UK Olympic designs

How many ways can you stretch Britain's red, white and blue Union Jack over finely toned Olympic athletes?

Ask Stella McCartney.

The famed designer unveiled her ideas for Britain's Olympians on Thursday with uniforms that made imaginative use of the familiar flag. The designs, a closely guarded secret for months, were shown at the Tower of London in a gala event that combined fashion's razzle-dazzle with the star quality of top Olympic competitors.

Out with rail-thin fashion models, in with real Olympic stars.

McCartney, who is serving as adidas' creative director for the Summer Games, said she hoped both competitors and the British public like the uniforms and are proud of the athletes who will wear them at the Olympics and the Paralympics.

"The basic message is to unify the team," McCartney told The Associated Press backstage after the show. "The athletes all want to feel like one team. The other big starting point for me was the Union flag, an iconic flag, I think every Briton is so proud of it, but I wanted to look at it in a different way."

McCartney said instead of simply using the flag in its traditional form she broke it up and used various elements in an original way.

"I wanted to make it slightly more delicate and feminine, while still keeping the masculinity in some ways," she said.

Britain isn't the only team that has pressed a top designer into duty — Ralph Lauren is working on some outfits for the U.S. team, and Giorgio Armani is lending his skills to the Italian Olympians.

One challenge for McCartney was to incorporate the latest technological improvements and fabric developments into the designs without sacrificing her aesthetic goals.

"My first question for the athletes was, 'What can I do for you?'" she said. "This isn't about me, it's about Team Great Britain. They all said 'we need the technology.'"

That mean some of the artistic imagery had to be toned down.

"There are seams you can't mess up, there's tons of things, home and away kits, in gymnastics you have to have symmetry or you're marked down," McCartney said. "But it's been an incredible journey."

Triple jumper Phillips Idowu said it felt great to don the new uniform.

"All eyes will be watching London 2012 so every little detail matters," he said. "I love what Stella has done with the design."

He said the handsome designs and modern technology will provide a competitive boost.

"Looking good is psychologically important but my sprint suit is also technically advanced, so not only do I look good but I also have confidence in the technology."

The clothing included competition uniforms, training wear, a presentation suit, footwear and accessories.

British athletes who modeled the new gear included heptathlete Jessica Ennis, rowing champion Pete Reed and double Paralympic swimming gold medallist Ellie Simmonds.

THE LATEST NEWS & BLOGS

Pregnant Jessica Simpson Gets Nude for Elle, Reveals Baby’s Sex

Following in the footsteps of Claudia Schiffer, Mariah Carey, and the woman who started it all, Demi Moore, a heavily pregnant Jessica Simpson has thrown modesty out the window as she bares all -- save for a few select parts covered by her hands -- on the cover of a magazine. (Scroll down to see the entire cover. Discretion advised.) But the 31-year-old doesn't just reveal her new, bigger body in Elle's April issue , she also reveals some pretty big news: The singer-turned-actress-turned-fashion designer is having a girl! And she's hoping for a girly girl at that.

"Ah swear, ah will croak if she asks me for a pair of Nikes instead of Christian Louboutins!" Simpson, who will serve as a "mentor" on the upcoming reality competition show "Fashion Star," tells the magazine in her signature Texas drawl. "If she ends up bein' this volleyball-playing, basketball-playing woman I'm looking up at! Eric is so athletic. We're gonna have this ath-a-letic girl and I won't even be able to take her shopping, 'cause all she's gonna want is sports bras and Nikes!"

The Eric she's referring to is Simpson's fiancé, pro football player Eric Johnson … and the reason their future daughter could be one very large baby. (Her physician is predicting 10 pounds, the same size Johnson was at birth.) "Me, I was only six pounds," she says. "So maybe Eric and I can meet in the middle."

Jessica Simpson's Exotic Beauty Secret

The couple apparently didn't have any trouble meeting in the middle when it came to choosing a name for their baby girl. And the future mom insists they won't be changing their minds. "We're sure. We're embroidering it on things," Simpson insists of the name she describes as "nontraditional." "It's nothing shocking and nothing you'll have to add to the dictionary Still, when people hear it, they'll know…why."

The Best Celebrity Haircuts

And with the new baby will surely come more media attention, something Simpson is quite familiar with — explaining her elaborate tactics for shaking off the paparazzi, which involve renting multiple cars and switching them out in various parking garages. But it's not just the media's photographers who have caused trouble for a woman who started her music career as a teenager but rose to even more fame after her infamous reality show "The Newlyweds" debuted in 2003. The MTV series followed the star and then new-husband, former boy band member Nick Lachey (who, coincidentally just announced he and second wife Vanessa Minnillo are expecting, too), and often portrayed Simpson as less-than-the-brightest bulb. Enrique Iglesias Reveals Why He Won’t Marry His Girlfriend Of 11 Years

They may one of the rare long-lasting and relatively low drama celebrity couples, but singer Enrique Iglesias and his girlfriend, tennis player Anna Kournikova, won't be exchanging rings any time soon, if ever.

In a recent interview with Parade, the 36-year-old Latin singer explained why he called Kournikova his "wife" at a concert in Russia last year, yet hasn't popped the big question. He told the magazine, "It was just meant to be sweet in the moment. I honestly didn't mean to confuse people. I thought it'd be easier for the audience to understand than if I said "my girl."
But why not make an honest woman out of Kournikova after dating for 11 years? Iglesias admitted, "I've never really thought marriage would make a difference. Maybe it's because I come from divorced parents, but I don't think you love someone more because of a piece of paper. And nowadays, it's not taboo to have kids and not be married. What makes a difference is that you're a good parent, period."

In that case, could children be coming sooner than marriage for the superstar pair? The couple first met when Iglesias hand-picked Kournikova, then 20, to play his love interest in his incredibly steamy 2001 music video for "Escape". Since then, there have been multiple rumors of secret marriage and separation, but despite whatever really happened, the couple is still together today.

LeBron James will sell pork donuts in China

LeBron James has made no secret of his desire to become a global icon, the sort of cultural force who moves products all over the world and generally changes the face of basketball. Yet, until he wins multiple championships, or becomes well-liked on a level that even Biff Loman could never have dreamed of, that's probably a ways off.

[Rewind: LeBron James' team rejects his $3,000 birthday cake]

Nevertheless, James continues to reach out to other markets with endorsement opportunities. Except, instead of repping a basketball brand or an insurance company, he's going to China for Dunkin' Donuts. From Eveline Danubrata for Reuters (via Business Insider):

Dunkin' Brands Group Inc (DNKN.O) also announced a multi-year marketing agreement on Monday with National Basketball Association star LeBron James, who has a big following of Chinese fans. The company now has about 150 stores in China, the world's second-largest economy.

"Donuts are a very flexible product. You can do savory donuts, you can do donuts with shredded pork -- that's in China," Chief Executive Officer Nigel Travis told Reuters in an interview. [...]

Dunkin' Brands picked James as its brand ambassador in Asia partly due to the Miami Heat star's huge appeal in China, Travis said. James will promote Dunkin' Donuts and Baskin-Robbins through advertising, online media and in-store marketing, as well as personal appearances at certain locations.

Kobe Bryant wore a black mask, looked like a crime fighter

Last Wednesday, Kobe Bryant dealt with the broken nose he suffered in the All-Star Game by wearing a transparent protective mask. Lots of players have donned similar pieces in the past, but none have been quite so funny as this one, mostly because Kobe takes himself incredibly seriously on the court. Luckily for him, he's played pretty well while wearing the mask, scoring at least 30 points in all three games.

However, Bryant found the mask uncomfortable, claiming it fogged up and got way too hot. To fix these issues, he's changed his mask, opting for a black one. Except that made him look even more ridiculous, as if he decided to dress up as a caped crusader for a comic-book convention. Check out the screengrab above (via @GotEm_Coach), and wonder exactly what the rest of his Black Mamba costume would look like.

Sadly, the experiment was short-lived. At end of the first half, Kobe had switched back to the clear mask, likely in the hope of correcting his 2-of-10 shooting from the field before halftime.More...

Jennifer Lopez & Marc Anthony Talk Failed Marriage in New Reality Show

J ennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony are going to let cameras capture their candid conversations about their marriage falling apart during the first episode of their new show, "¡Q'Viva The Chosen!" airing on Jan. 28 on Univision and later on an English-language version of the program on Fox.

During a preview of the first episode at the Soho House in West Hollywood, Lopez, Anthony and show director Jaime King are seen traveling to countries such as Argentina, Colombia, Mexico and Puerto Rico in search of talent for their new reality show. In some of the segments, the former power couple openly discuss their relationship.

Anthony says that they're "going to be in each other's lives" for a long time. The conversations between Anthony and Lopez are seen as they travel to their destinations in Latin America.

Lopez and Anthony, who began traveling last year to find talent, also showed up the Television Critics Association press tour on Jan. 14 as part of Univision's upfront session which included discussion about the show and what it took to create a "new genre" in English, Spanish and Portuguese. There will be four versions of the show and it will be sub-titled for each viewing audience.

Lopez, Anthony, XIX Entertainment's Simon Fuller (creator of "America Idol"), and show director Jamie King are executive producers of "Q'Viva" featuring Latin music, artistry and dance from the U.S. and Latin America. At the end of the show in April, a live spectacle with those featured on the the program will begin touring.

In an interview with Billboard to promote "Q'Viva," King said that this is one of the biggest projects he has ever worked on in a career as a choreographer and show director for some of music's biggest names including Madonna, Rhianna and Britney Spears.

King conceded that the Lopez-Anthony split never took away from the production of the show which also features King traveling in search of talent for the program that will end with a 90-minute talent show that he will direct.

"Jennifer and Marc are respectful to each other," King says. "Although they are not together anymore, they still share this love ... and it still bonds them and they still love the show so much to continue...More.

Jolie and Pitt grace the Globes in glamorous style

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt fully dressed their part as a glamorous Hollywood power couple at Sunday night's Golden Globe Awards: She in a body-hugging white strapless gown with a flash of red at the bustline by Atelier Versace that matched perfectly her lips and handbag, and he in a classic, bow-tie tuxedo by Salvatore Ferragamo.

Individually, they oozed old-school, movie-star looks, but together, they were the buzz of the red carpet at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, Calif., setting a high bar for style.

"There is mystery there. We know so much about everybody else that this couple is so exciting, and you love to see them," said stylist Mary Alice Stephenson. "They are so elegant ... and she's immaculate head to toe. She's so beautiful and icy, you love to watch her and you can't take your eyes off her."

Jolie led the march of stylish, seasoned veterans, who are mothers, moguls and — on nights like these — the best models around.

Stephenson called out Elle Macpherson in a strapless, tiered Zac Posen gown in ivory, Kate Beckinsale in a blush-colored beaded Roberto Cavalli, Reese Witherspoon in a red, corsetlike Posen, Nicole Kidman in a studded Versace and Salma Hayek in a bold, metallic Gucci.

Charlize Theron wore a dusty-rose colored gown by Christian Dior Couture with a plunging neckline, high slit and big bow on the waist, and Heidi Klum was in a plunging-back, blush-tone gown by Francisco Costa for Calvin Klein. She accented her look with a huge turquoise necklace.

"It's good for real women to see women who have a little age and maybe motherhood who can get their glam on in a very sexy way," Stephenson said.

Hal Rubenstein, fashion director for InStyle, noted the prevailing sophistication and elegance. "It's a very pretty night," he said. "Everybody wanted to look pretty and grown up. There wasn't a slashed skirt. There was an understanding that fashion isn't about being outrageous."

Among his favorites were Julianna Margulies in a purple caviar-beaded gown by Naeem Khan that showed off an open back.

Khan is one of Michelle Obama's go-to designers for formal occasions, and with open back and long sleeves from the designer's spring collection at the Golden Globe Awards. One of her other favorites, Jason Wu, made the leap to the West Coast, dressing Michelle Williams in a blue velvet gown.

Williams' biggest style statement, however, was her diamond garland headband by Fred Leighton for Forevermark.

The blue gown that surely turned some heads was the Vera Wang worn by Sofia Vergara. It was the mermaid silhouette that's becoming her signature, but the knife-pleated bodice and swirling sheared bias flange skirt were a little more fashion forward than the styles she's worn before.

Vergara said she so often wears Wang because of her gowns' fit: "She's like a genius now with my body."

There were some new names making bold fashion statements at the Globes, reassuring the next generation of style watchers. Jessica Chastain was at the ceremony for the first time wearing a high-neck, pearl-covered Givenchy Haute Couture by Riccardo Tisci. The details, down to her thin gold belt and pearl-and-diamond earrings, were just right.

Mila Kunis wore a one-shouldered black Dior. Her makeup artist Tracey Levy said she looked a bit like Elizabeth Taylor, but even more like "a brunette Grace Kelly."

"She looked classic Hollywood, but youthful ... with an innocence but also a grown woman who is confident," said Levy, who stuck to peach and coral Dior shades.

Zooey Deschanel wore a unique Prada dark-green halter gown with black and emerald glass pearls on the bodice and ivory pearls at the neck, and Rooney Mara, in a deep V-neck black gown with a bare, harness-style bodice. "It's a Nina Ricci and it was the first one I tried on," Mara said. "It was very comfortable."

Rubenstein thought Mara is playing her cards right in introducing herself to a broader audience. "She's doing a very savvy bridge between personal style and the character she plays in 'Dragon Tattoo.'"

First-timer Octavia Spencer wore a lavender, draped gown by Tadashi with a V neck and jeweled details. "We wanted to create something Grecian that highlighted her curves and vibrant personality," said Shoji in a statement.

Rubenstein noted how many women went the purple route, including Emma Stone in Lanvin, Jessica Alba in Gucci and Shailene Woodley in an embroidered illusion column dress by Marchesa.

Lea Michele wore one of the beaded, under-the-sea fantasy frocks from Marchesa's spring runway.

A tamer Gervais leads predictable Golden Globes

The Hollywood Foreign Press Association dared to let Ricky Gervais come back and host the Golden Globe Awards, a year after he insulted the organization and nearly everyone in the star-studded room with his lacerating wit.

But Gervais and the show seemed tamer and more predictable this year, not quite living up to outrageous reputations. Even the winners themselves, including "The Descendants" and its star, George Clooney, were predictable.

The victory for "The Descendants" in the best drama category sets it up in an expected battle at the Academy Awards with "The Artist," which won the award for best musical or comedy. Both had been frontrunners all along among people who are the business of prognosticating these things; Oscar nominations will be announced Jan. 24, with the ceremony itself coming Feb. 26.

Clooney won for his portrayal of a middle-aged husband struggling to raise his two daughters while their mother is in a coma. Jean Dujardin won the same award in the musical or comedy category for "The Artist" as a silent film actor whose career derails with the arrival of sound. ("The Artist" won the most film awards with three total, including one for Ludovic Bource's original score.)

It took the presenters and winners themselves to liven up the program — and that includes Uggie, Dujardin's scene-stealing Jack Russell terrier in "The Artist," who performed some of his signature tricks on stage toward the end of the night.

While Gervais dropped an F-bomb a couple hours into the broadcast — likely an accident after some imbibing on and offstage — he also took aim at easy targets like Kim Kardashian. Later, wine glass in hand, he emerged from the wings to express delight in having "a job where you can get drunk and say what you want, and they still pay you."

After he introduced Madonna with a series of hackneyed puns about her song titles, including "Like a Virgin," the pop star shot back.

"If I'm still just like a virgin, Ricky, then why don't you come over here and do something about it?" she deadpanned. "I haven't kissed a girl in a few years — on TV."

Male genitalia was a frequent theme. Tina Fey and Jane Lynch teamed up to make a penis pun inspired by "Hung" star Thomas Jane. Seth Rogen, taking the stage with the gorgeous Kate Beckinsale, cracked: "Hello, I'm Seth Rogen, and I'm currently trying to conceal a massive erection." And Clooney, in accepting his best-actor award, made a joke about fellow nominee Michael Fassbender, who plays a sex addict in "Shame."

"I'd like to thank Michael Fassbender for taking over the full-frontal nudity responsibility that I had," and Clooney then went on to suggest Fassbender could play golf with his hands behind his back.

Even Meryl Streep — the grand dame of them all who won for best actress in a drama for her portrayal of former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher in "The Iron Lady" — let an expletive slip during her acceptance speech. Streep got flustered when she realized she forgot her glasses at her table; instead she winged it, giving a rambling (but gracious) speech praising other actresses' performances, including some who hadn't even been nominated that night.

Two of Hollywood's most veteran and esteemed directors also were winners Sunday night, both of whom were venturing into 3-D for the first time: Martin Scorsese for best director for the family fantasy "Hugo" and Steven Spielberg for best animated film for "The Adventures of Tintin." Meanwhile, Woody Allen won for his screenplay for "Midnight in Paris" — but naturally, he wasn't there to accept the statue in person. The comedy is his biggest hit in decades but he's typically reluctant to attend awards shows.

Things were much more fresh and inspired on the television side of the ceremony, with daring shows earning honors and longtime stars going home with statues for new roles.

"Homeland" on Showtime, which explores terrorism and an Iraq war veteran, earned awards for best drama and best actress in a drama for star Claire Danes. It was Danes' third Globe; she won her first when she was just 15 for "My So-Called Life."

Former "Frasier" star Kelsey Grammer won best actor in a drama for Starz's "Boss," while former "Friends" star Matt LeBlanc won best actor in a musical or comedy for Showtime's "Episodes."

ABC's "Modern Family" was the big winner among commercial broadcast networks, following up its Emmy for best television comedy by winning the Golden Globe. Creator Steve Levitan and actress Sofia Vergara accepted the award with a comic riff in which she spoke in Spanish and Levitan "translated."

Let's hope the after-parties got wilder.

Nicki Minaj, Foo Fighters to perform at Grammys

Rapper Nicki Minaj will make her debut Grammy performance next month, joining Foo Fighters, Bruno Mars and country singer Jason Aldean on the list of artists who will take to the stage on the recording industry's biggest night.

Grammy organizers said on Thursday that Minaj, who has four Grammy nominations, will perform at the February 12 awards show, as well as country sensation Taylor Swift, and Kelly Clarkson.

But there was no official word on Thursday on whether Britain's Adele, whose album "21" was the biggest seller of 2011, will be singing at the Grammys following surgery on her vocal cords in November.

Adele, who has been on doctor-ordered vocal rest since November, was not among the first list of Grammy performers. But the 23 year-old "Someone Like You" singer was listed on Thursday as being down to sing at the BRIT music awards ceremony in London on February 21.

Rapper Kanye West, who leads this year's Grammys with seven nominations, is also yet to be confirmed as a performer at the live awards show in Los Angeles.

Organizers said additional performers and presenters will be announced in the coming weeks.

DiCaprio, Streep celebrate at pre-Globes tea party

Before the Golden Globes Champagne, there is the BAFTA tea.

The Los Angeles branch of the British Academy of Film and Television Arts held its 18th annual Awards Season Tea Party Saturday, where a slew of Golden Globe nominees sipped Earl Grey and nibbled on finger sandwiches and scones with jam and cream.

Michelle Williams, Viola Davis, Meryl Streep and Charlize Theron — all up for best actress Sunday — mingled with fellow filmmakers and nominees at the afternoon affair at the Four Seasons Hotel, also home to a gift suite and beauty lounge leading up to the Golden Globes.

The place was alight with stars. While the BAFTA tea party was going on in the hotel ballroom, Gilles Marini and Anne Heche collected swag at the HBO Luxury Lounge upstairs and Malin Ackerman and her stepmom got dolled up at the InStyle Beauty Lounge on a private outdoor patio.

Theron was already picture perfect when she arrived at the BAFTA party — so perfect, in fact, that supporting actress nominee Octavia Spencer was afraid to get too close.

"I don't want to mess up your face," Spencer said as she embraced Theron on the red carpet.

"Mess me up, honey. Mess me up," the "Young Adult" star said as she gave Spencer a squeeze.

Spencer, a working actress for 15 years before her breakout role in "The Help," said the response to the film and ensuing awards journey has been "surreal."

"Steven Spielberg had a conversation with me and when he walked away from the table, I started crying, because it's (meeting) people who've inspired me," she said. "The fact that I am, for these next couple weeks, getting to rub elbows with them — This coach is going to turn into a pumpkin in the next couple weeks, so I am living it up."

Spencer sat with her co-stars inside as BAFTA/LA chairman Neil Stiles implored guests to raise their glasses and wish "the best of British luck" to the various nominees. Also toasting were "The Artist" stars Berenice Bejo and Jean Dujardin, "Hugo" stars Sir Ben Kingsley, Asa Butterfield and Chloe Grace Moretz, "Ides of March" star Evan Rachel Wood and Emily Watson of "War Horse."

Supporting actor contender Kenneth Branagh (for "My Week With Marilyn") said the BAFTA tea is part of the road to the Golden Globes.

"You enjoy every little bit of the journey that marks the way," he said. "There's a little ritual getting ready for tomorrow night.

"The day is one long preparation, so by the time you get inside that room, you can't help but be swept up with the adrenaline — not only for the involvement with your own movie if you're lucky enough to be nominated, but just everyone else. You see amazing people across a crowded room, and the sense of celebrating the good things the movie business does is what it's all about."

The 69th annual Golden Globe Awards will be presented Sunday at the Beverly Hilton Hotel and broadcast live on NBC.

Madonna not totally sharing the love with Lady Gaga?

Lady Gaga has been up front about her admiration for Madonna. But does Madonna share the love?

The "Material Girl" sounded lukewarm in U.S. interviews released on Friday, calling her influence on Gaga's music "interesting" and "amusing." Sometimes.

"I certainly think she references me a lot in her work. And sometimes I think it's amusing and flattering and well done," Madonna, 53, told ABC News in a television interview.

"There's a lot of ways to look at it. I can't really be annoyed by it...because obviously, I've influenced her," the pop star told ABC.

The comparisons between the two divas, both known for combining provocative stunts with catchy dance-pop hits, came to a head when Gaga released her "Born This Way" single last February.

The song was instantly likened to Madonna's 1989 hit "Express Yourself".

"When I heard it on the radio .I said that sounds very familiar," Madonna said. Asked if that felt annoying, Madonna responded, "It felt reductive."

Pressed by ABC interviewer Cynthia McFadden whether that was a good or bad thing, Madonna replied "look it up".

In a separate interview in the upcoming issue of Newsweek, Madonna described "Born This Way" as "a wonderful way to redo my song."

"I mean, I recognized the chord changes. I thought it was... interesting," she added.

"Born This Way" became an instant hit for Lady Gaga, 25, topping the charts in 19 countries and becoming the fastest selling song in iTunes history.

The Grammy-winning singer told U.S. talk show host Jay Leno in February that she was Madonna's "hugest fan personally and professionally."

As for "Born This Way", Gaga told Leno; "The good news is that I got an e-mail from her (Madonna's) people, and her sending me their love and complete support on behalf of the single."

PepsiCo says finds trace fungicide in orange juice

PepsiCo Inc said company tests of its Tropicana orange juice showed low levels of a potentially dangerous fungicide, but levels were below federal safety concerns and did not pose a health risk.

The company said in a statement on Saturday it was conducting additional tests after the Food and Drug Administration announced on Wednesday that it would temporarily halt orange juice imports and remove any juice found to have dangerous amounts of the fungicide carbendazim.

The scare was triggered when soft-drink giant Coca-Cola Co, maker of Minute Maid orange juice, said it had discovered carbendazim in shipments from Brazil and alerted U.S. authorities about a potential industry-wide problem.

Carbendazim is used in Brazil to combat blossom blight and black spot, a type of mold that grows on orange trees.

But in the United States, its use is limited to non-food items such as paints, textiles and ornamental trees, although U.S. authorities allow trace amounts of carbendazim in 31 food types including grains, nuts and some non-citrus fruits.

The FDA said low levels of carbendazim are not dangerous and the agency had no plans for a recall.

"The results we have to date confirm that the levels of fungicide in the imported Brazilian juice we tested are below the levels the agencies said raise safety concerns," PepsiCo said. "We will continue to test, as we take this matter seriously, and we're working aggressively to address any concerns."

Orange juice futures prices hit record highs on the fungicide reports, then declined.

On Friday, U.S. health regulators cleared the way for the first shipments of imported orange juice to enter the country since January 4, when authorities began testing for the fungicide in juice products from Brazil.

The FDA said final tests confirmed that three samples of Canadian orange juice were negative for the fungicide carbendazim. Test results have yet to be announced for 28 import samples from Brazil, Mexico and Canada.

Serena Williams hasn’t been on a date in ‘forever’

Despite being the presumed subject of an ongoing rap beef between Drake and Common, Serena Williams insists her love life isn't very exciting.

The American tennis star is in Melbourne for next week's Australian Open and answered questions about her relationship status at a Thursday press conference.

"I haven't been on a date in forever," Williams she said.

"I can be super picky, never satisfied. It's a little crazy right now because there's so much going on that when I'm not playing tennis I don't sleep because I'm always doing something."

Serena dated the rapper Common on and off for three years. The two broke up sometime last year, reportedly leaving the Chicago-born artist "heartsick." Since then, Serena has been hanging around with the Canadian TV star-turned-rapper Drake. The two were photographed playing tennis together while Serena was out with an injury last year, though both insist the relationship is platonic.

Common and Drake have thrown barbs each others way in recent rap lyrics and it's believed that Serena is the reason for the beef. If there's anyone who should have a problem with this, it's Serena. She has two guys interested in her and neither have taken her out on a date in "forever?" Step up your game, gentlemen.

Manny Pacquiao's Wife, Jinkee, Shows The Boxer The Ropes On Rehabbing His Image

Manny Pacquiao's wife, Jinkee, has encouraged an extraordinary lifestyle change that has seen the boxing champion ditch his legendary late-night partying and gambling habits.
Shortly after his narrow victory over Juan Manuel Marquez in November, Pacquiao implemented major steps aimed at adding order and structure to his life, and improving his public image in the Philippines. Sources say Jinkee was behind the adjustments. Famous for keeping odd hours and often sleeping into the afternoon, Pacquiao has now taken to rising early in the morning, along with his wife, and throwing himself into an array of political, social and religious projects.
In the Philippines, it is hoped the new approach will improve Pacquiao’s sporadic attendance at congressional sessions, a spotty record that has given his political rivals ammunition. In 2011, he was the fourth most absent congressman in his homeland, attending just 27 of 59 session days. Of his 32 absences, official notice was given for only 21.He also drew fire for failing to attend a House of Representatives plenary session on the impeachment case of controversial Filipino political powerbroker and ombudsman Merceditas Gutierrez, receiving so much criticism he was forced to temporarily delete his Twitter account.

"I do not neglect the responsibilities that others think I forget," Pacquiao said last year. "Just like when I met Barack Obama during my promotional tour, I may be absent in the Lower House but I still carried our country’s name."

Still he is repairing his reputation in other ways, as well. Pacquiao is selling the huge farm in Sarangani where he kept thousands of chickens and roosters used for cockfights, upon which the 33-year-old would regularly wager large sums of money.

Religion has become a focus for him, and he and Jinkee take bible study classes with a preacher several times a week. The fighter discusses religious verses and their meaning with Pastor Jeric Soriano and has encouraged his driver, bodyguard and other members of his entourage to take part. On his next trip to the United States, he will again seek out a local man of faith, Pastor Rice Brooks, whom he has turned to in the past.

The motivation for the Filipino superstar's makeover seems to be primarily political. He is currently Congressman for Sarangani province, but seeks higher office. He is expected to become Governor of Sarangani later this year, having struck a deal with reigning governor Miguel Rene Dominguez that will result in them effectively trade places. A future run for the Filipino presidency seems virtually certain.

However, it is unlikely that any change of lifestyle would have taken place without the efforts of Jinkee, with(...)More.
