NEW YORK — A scuffle outside a Macy's department store where Justin Bieber was attending a promotional event Thursday for his new fragrance was "a misunderstanding," the singer's representative said."This was a momentary, well-intentioned misunderstanding that was quickly resolved, and the event went very well," said publicist Melissa Victor in an email.
The incident happened outside the Broadway entrance of Macy's in Manhattan.
Scoop on Thursday's mayhem outside Macy's Police said Bieber's representatives contacted them to say he wanted to go outside to greet fans. Police set up a small pen where he could do so.
