Tears during Anthony testimony

(NECN) - Casey Anthony, who has sat showing very little emotion during her trial on charges she killed her two-year-old Daughter Caylee, appeared to tear up during a display of graphic photos of the toddler's body on Saturday.

     ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) - A renowned forensic expert says the autopsy
done on 2-year-old Caylee Anthony was "shoddy."

      Dr. Werner Spitz gave testimony Saturday in the trial of Casey
Anthony, the Florida mother charged with murder in Caylee's death.
      Spitz has been an expert witness in several high-profile cases,
including that of O.J. Simpson. He says it was a failure that
Caylee's head was not opened during the official autopsy. Spitz
conducted a second autopsy afterward.

      Casey Anthony has pleaded not guilty. The defense says the girl
drowned in her grandparents' swimming pool. The prosecution
contends that Caylee was suffocated by duct tape placed over her
nose and mouth.

      The court adjourned Saturday afternoon. The case will resume
Monday morning.
